PEPFAR FREEZE
- A group of civil society organisations has written the following joint letter calling for the South African government to provide a coordinated emergency response to address the healthcare emergency created by the US government’s actions on foreign aid. Read our Open letter to the SA Government of 5 February 2025 here.
- As groups working on the right to health care services, we remain concerned that there is not enough transparency in the SA government’s handling of the consequences of the USAID and PEPFAR funding cuts. Read our Open letter to the SA Government of 18 March 2025 here.
